Hands Free Appointments Explained
The health and wellbeing of our clients, patients and staff are a top priority Dandenong Ranges Veterinary Centre. That is why we are now offering “Hands-Free” Appointments to all of our clients until further notice. Here are a few things to expect during your pet’s “Hands-Free” Appointment.
All “Hands-Free” Appointments will be given a scheduled time by a DRVC team member, similar to a regular veterinary visit.
Please call as you are arriving, and a DRVC team member will meet you and your pet at your car or in the front of the building and discuss the reasoning for the visit. The team member will collect your pet and take them inside for examination by the vet. Cats are required to be in a secure cat carrier.
You may then choose to wait in your vehicle while the vet is examining your pet or wander the garden at DRVC. All communications and financial transactions will be done over the phone or at your car. Please be ready for the vet’s call within 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment time.
Once the examination and treatments are complete, you may pay over the phone or at your car with wireless EFT machine by credit/debit card or Humm. We are encouraging clients to refrain from using cash wherever possible.
All documents, including invoices, will be emailed to you or given to you when your pet is returned to your car.
